For 15 years, Bill has filled various senior-management slots at companies ranging from $45 million to $200 million in annual revenues. A versatile pioneer of sales force automation, web-based productivity, e-commerce, social media and operational efficiency, Bill has repeatedly proven his expertise in increasing productivity.
Prior to co-founding Emerge, Bill’s most notable work was re-engineering the Sales and Operations performance of Siemens Medical Systems Ventilation and Patient Monitoring divisions. Thanks to his efforts, revenues increased threefold and every Siemens ventilator and patient monitor contained the newest parts and accessories. He also played vital roles in Siemens’ smooth transition into Draeger and Maquet, and in integrating all IT and operations systems when Mediq/ACS was acquired by Invacare in 2004.
Bill, who earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and completed graduate coursework in cellular physiology at NYU, was instrumental in drafting and honing Emerge Sales’ menu of professional services. He also leads an interesting (and uniquely public) private life: Bill and his wife, Jennifer Arnold, costar on the Learning Channel program “The Little Couple,” sharing their personal stories of triumph over adversity to motivate others facing similar challenges.
